Cornerstone Hospice enlists iPads to help patients connect, be entertained

Cornerstone Hospice IT Director D.J. Hamilton plays a game on one of the organization's new 'iPops.' A grant funded the purchase of the iPads mounted on a lightweight stand and enable hospice patients and visiting family members to use the devices to entertain, inform and even connect with loved ones far away with video chat applications.

Devices enable better patient quality of life by providing a lifeline outside of a room.
