Florida Surgeon General Dr. John Armstrong left no doubt what his goal is for the state.

“We want to be the number one state in weight loss,” he said at a conference held Friday, Jan. 28 at the Polk County History Center. “Two years ago we were 19th and now we’re 12th.” (Colorado is first; in Florida, Marion County is first).
