Roughly 10,000 people a day are turning 65. For the last decade, organizations making up the active-aging industry have already begun assessing the needs of this population.
The need for appropriate exercise equipment for those 50 and older has become urgent in the last decade. The majority of gyms and health clubs have equipment geared mainly for the ages of 18 to 35. Trying to mix in with suits of Spandex and speed cycling to heavy metal doesn’t bode well for the population now prone to arthritis or some other condition.
