PSC is state leader in preparing graduates

On Thursday June 6, Focus on Leadership, Class XI participated in the Polk County Schools Oklahoma KidsPak Project. Pictured above are some of the class members with some of the items that were collected, which included Pop Tarts, breakfast bars, mixed fruit cup, fruit snacks, snack crackers, trail mix and raisins. There was also peanut butter, jelly, cookies / snack cakes, single serve cereal, pudding, chips, kids apparel items, flashlights, batteries, safety goggles and work gloves. Pough, Stephanie Kirnes, Janette McDonald, Gladys Dawes.

Polk State College is once again the state’s leader in preparing graduates for immediate employment.

New data show that 86 percent of students in the college’s workforce-based programs secured employment within just months of graduation.
