Chiropractic aims to curb opioid dependence

CHARLOTTE COUNTY — On Dec. 22, Dave and Jean Somers were driving south on Interstate 75 when traffic slowed and then came to a halt. In his rear-view mirror, Dave could see that the vehicle barreling down on them at 70 mph did not react to the gridlock.

“She never touched her brakes,” Jean said of the 88-year-old driver.
