It was “Farm Party” Saturday at the children’s wing of the DeSoto County Public Library. Children’s Library Technician Cindy Beaudoin and Library Aid Elizabeth Coronado had been busy preparing for weeks.

Some of the events for children ages two and older included making puppets of a child’s favorite farm animal, planting in the garden area outside the library, farm games and learning the importance of farming.
