With DeSoto’s school year starting today, it was back to business at Tuesday’s school board meeting — open houses, teacher concerns and a new appointee.
Open house turnout was high, according to Superintendent Adrian Cline. “Sixth grade (open house) was almost at capacity,” he said. “You can tell we are getting close (to school being in session) because a lot of parents are asking questions.”
