NORTH PORT — The Atlanta Braves have broken ground in the city and are now looking to meet their new neighbors in North Port.

“We’re new members of the community and we thought it would be a great opportunity to say hello to everyone,” said Mike Dunn, vice president of the Braves’ Florida Operations team.
