WARM MINERAL SPRINGS — Lois Ertle may be gone, but she’s still felt at AMVETS Post 2000 in Warm Mineral Springs, from the poem on the penny jar on the bar to the memories shared by her fellow members at the post.

Ertle, 89, died on Oct. 10, but the charter member of the organization is still celebrated at her post. According to her daughter Sandi Beane her mother and father, George, moved to North Port 39 years ago.
