The Charlotte County Fire battalion chief arrested Monday on burglary and battery charges got into an altercation with two young men in a Mercedes who he claimed attempted to ram his car, according to the Venice Police Department.
Jon Miller, 53, called 911 after the incident on Dec. 30. He told dispatchers two younger males were sitting in their car honking their horn. He and a neighbor were both carrying firearms, he told dispatch, and one male allegedly had a knife.
