Film in Arcadia to examine

Richardson poisoning case

A documentary on James Richardson will be shown twice this month in Arcadia.

Those of us in DeSoto County will have the chance to view the award-winning documentary “Time Simply Passes,” a film about James Richardson of Arcadia, wrongfully convicted in 1968 of murdering his seven children.

The film will be shown in Arcadia at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 at Pine Level United Methodist Church, 9596 NW Pine Level St., and at 4 p.m. Feb. 17 at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 101 S. Orange Ave., following a brief commemorative service for the children.
