The Twentieth Century Literary Club met at the beautiful country home of Cynthia Mizell on Jan. 22.
Ladies were welcomed by hostesses DeAnna Smith, Terri Womack and Cynthia Mizell into the longtime Mizell family home. The evening began with beverages and conversation. Following a blessing given by Sue Ellen Smith, ladies enjoyed a delightful dinner of chicken and wild rice casserole, cream of tomato and basil soup with croutons and Asiago cheese, mixed greens salad with craisins, Parmesan cheese and roasted tomatoes served with Italian dressing and Bubba’s Beer Biscuits. Dessert selections were carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies, fruit salad and Tres Leches and Irish Cream dips.
