I was excited as I drove to Brownville Park to meet Mark Renz and his group of fossil hunters. I’m finding that Arcadia is full of talented and interesting people — I was not disappointed this morning.

I was greeted at the park by Mark, a tall, lanky man with a gray beard and peaceful smile, along with his wonder dog, Darwin. His semi-dry sense of humor let me know that we were in for a fun as well as an informative morning.
