Bocilla Islands Conservancy held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a “Giving is Glamorous” party Feb. 3 on Knight Island, dedicating two parcels the Conservancy recently purchased with the intent to preserve them. The nonprofit Conservancy purchased the two lots on Palm Drive for $200,000.

The Bocilla Islands Conservancy Bocilla Inc. is a private, non-political, nonprofit organization that works in partnership with residents on Don Pedro Island, Knight Island and Thornton Key. The organization is dedicated to the long-term preservation of open undeveloped space and natural habitat.
