MURDOCK — More than three years after voters approved the Family Services Center sales tax project, county commissioners are still unsure how to proceed.
Passed in 2014, the 1 percent sales tax extension called for a $7.1 million renovation of the Family Services Center, including a new addition on Gibralter Drive. Since then, the County Commission has explored many different options, including moving the facility to another location in Parkside to accommodate a housing development.
