Florida Gulf Coast University is looking to expand its services in Charlotte County, as Western Michigan University has recently announced new degree programs out of its campus in Punta Gorda.
“We are currently working with local Charlotte County leaders to expand educational services there,” FGCU President Mike Martin recently told the Sun. “Included will likely be the offering of ‘completer degrees’ on site, augmented by online, and perhaps in partnership with (Florida Southwestern State College).”
