Three arrested in narcotic search warrant

PORT CHARLOTTE — A Port Charlotte woman, her son and his girlfriend were arrested when the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Street Crimes Unit served a search warrant at her home. Detectives arrived with the search warrant early Thursday morning. When they knocked at the door, Dora Linda Flick, 52, of the 100 block of Avens Street in Port Charlotte, answered. They asked if anyone else was in the house and found her son, David Anthony Flick, 28, and his girlfriend, Samantha Jo Erwin, 20, in one of the bedrooms. During the search, detectives located 14 hydrocodone pills and 1.3 grams of marijuana, along with various items of paraphernalia in Dora Flick’s bedroom. They located multiple containers of marijuana, multiple baggies of a pink rock substance suspected to be MDMA, alprazolam pills, 929 pieces of suspected LSD, items with cocaine residue, and various items of paraphernalia in the bedroom shared by David Flick and Samantha Erwin.

Dora Flick was charged with trafficking in hydrocodone, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. At the time of this report, she was being booked into the Charlotte County Jail on $27,000 bond. Samantha Erwin was charged with trafficking in MDMA, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of cocaine, possession of alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was being booked into the jail on a total $36,000 bond. In connection with the items found during the search warrant, David Flick was also charged with trafficking in MDMA, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of cocaine, possession of alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia. David Flick also faces additional charges as a result of undercover drug buys that were conducted between Sept. 23 and Oct. 22. During those transactions, he is alleged to have sold MDMA on two occasions, marijuana in a third instance and LSD in a fourth sale. He was being booked on additional charges of two counts of trafficking in MDMA, sale of MDMA, possession of MDMA, sale of marijuana, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, sale of LSD, trafficking in LSD and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on a total $136,000 bond.
