PORT CHARLOTTE — Ric Czaja is devastated, trying to understand how, after a dozen years at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, he could be let go — without a word.
“A friend contacted me and said I was wiped off the schedule,” said Czaja, 48, who worked as an LPN in the immediate care unit. “It’s horrible that you’re not appreciated for what you do. What really upset me is that I didn’t even know it was coming.”
