In 1998, the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda started an exhibit that has been continued every other year since. In the ensuing years, the show has grown and become one of the premier art shows regionally and recognized by artists and art lovers nationwide.

The National Art Exhibition starts Saturday and runs through March 9. No admission fee is charged to view the exhibit.
