Home condemned after crash

A 1999 Ford Pickup drove through a house in the 7100 block of Rosemont Drive on Sunday in Englewood, scattering debris from where it exited. The the damage is estimated to be $120,000, and the house is condemned. There were no injuries.

ENGLEWOOD — Dean Lanning noted the clock said 3:57 a.m. when he heard loud sounds through the open window of his RV Sunday.

Although he didn’t know it at the time, he was hearing a car crash through a house on the opposite side of the canal, which caused extensive material damage, but no injuries.
