Hospitals in the Sarasota-Venice-Charlotte area came out with remarkably similar rankings, under a nationwide survey released this week by ConsumerReports.org.
Doctors Hospital in Sarasota and Fawcett Memorial in Port Charlotte each received a “safety score” of 59 out of 100. Englewood Community Hospital earned a 61, although data was missing in a number of critical areas.
