PUNTA GORDA — An 18-year-old Harbour Heights man who was arrested in mid-April now faces additional burglary charges as detectives continue their investigation. Anthony Raymond Hall, 18, of the 3000 block of Perdue Terrance in the Harbour Heights area of Punta Gorda, was initially arrested April 18 on charges of armed burglary of a conveyance, grand theft of a firearm, two counts of grand theft of a motor vehicle, unarmed burglary of a conveyance and pettit theft. Two 17-year-old boys were also arrested on a variety of charges in April at the same time.

As a result of the continuing investigations, detectives have developed sufficient evidence to link Hall to at least five additional cases in which various items were removed from different vehicles. In one instance, a knife was taken from a vehicle and in another case beer was taken from a detached garage. On Tuesday, detectives arrested Hall, who was still in the Charlotte County Jail, on additional counts of burglary of a conveyance, burglary of an unoccupied structure, burglary of a conveyance while armed and petit theft. He is currently being held without bond. Detectives are continuing their investigations.
