More younger women make it drug of choice

Heroin is making a strong comeback in Florida, and local officials say young women are helping to fuel its acceptance as the drug of choice.

Called a “crisis” by U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, the rise of addictions to heroin and other opiates across the country could be an offshoot of stronger controls on painkillers, like oxycodone.
