NORTH PORT — City water will flow to the Madagascar neighborhood as part of a voluntary connection pilot program, once approval is given at Monday’s City Commission meeting.
The voluntary hookups in the neighborhood to the city system are the first step to bring water to more North Port citizens. The Madagascar neighborhood, located off Salford Boulevard, was chosen as the starting point for the project after last year’s Wade Trim Inc. data-analysis results came back to the city.
