On March 25, voters will be asked to renew their commitment to keeping the Sarasota County school system among the top-performing districts in Florida. Approving the referendum will not raise taxes. It will simply continue the voter-approved millage at the same rate it has been since it was approved in 2002 and renewed in 2006 and 2010.
The voter-approved millage is an investment in the community, as well as the schools.
