Yo u can hardly throw a dart at a calendar these days without hitting a campaign event for Charlotte County Commissioner Stephen R. Deutsch. “We’re running a people-based campaign. We have more than 400 contributors,” Deutsch said Friday in the parking lot at Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club, after helping a supporter decide where to affix a new bumper sticker.
