PORT CHARLOTTE — On any given Wednesday, Englewood resident Mary Capecci can have nine rambunctious youngsters in her classroom.
Capecci, 59, who is known as “Miss Mary” to her students, works to teach kids how to read, write and do basic arithmetic. And like with any youngster, it can sometimes be a struggle to get them to do their homework.
