From Friday through Aug. 3, merchants won’t collect sales tax on any article of clothing, wallet, handbag, backpack and diaper bag costing $100 or less per item.

During the three-day tax holiday, there will be no state or local sales taxes due on the first $750 of the sales price of personal computers and related accessories purchased for noncommercial home or personal use. It doesn’t include cellphones, video game consoles, digital media receivers, or devices that are not primarily designed to process data.
