PORT CHARLOTTE — “Jennifer is not alone” read one of the brightly colored signs held by protesters at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte Sunday morning.

Mothers, friends and supporters — nearly 25 from all over Southwest Florida — gathered to protest the hospital, which they claim sought to force an expectant mother, Cape Coral resident Jennifer Goodall, to undergo Cesarean section at 39 weeks.
