Linda Sue (nee Brady) Kazwell, 60, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at her home, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born Dec. 29, 1952, in Valparaiso, Ind., and moved to Port Charlotte 40 years ago.

Linda was an Entrepreneur and a retired Elementary School teacher who enjoyed making cards and crafts for everyone she knew. She was a fun and thoughtful person who enjoyed life to the fullest, and all things blue. Linda cherished her yearly trips to Indiana and Estero, Fla., to visit with family. Her amazing sense of humor and infectious laugh was matched only by her “Beatlemania.” Linda was a wonderful mother, adoring “Gammy,” sister, aunt and friend, who will forever be missed by all who loved and knew her.

“The long and winding road that leads to your door will never disappear.” — Lennon/McCartney.

Survivors include her six children, Jennifer Kazwell of Port Charlotte, Stanley (Sunshine Blombergh) Kazwell III of Tallahassee, Fla., Mary (Michael Henderson) Kazwell of Havana, Fla., Michael Kazwell of Port Charlotte, Kelly Kazwell of Tallahassee, and Kevin Kazwell of Tallahassee; two sisters, Mary Boyer and Elizabeth (Derek) Green, both of Valparaiso; six grandchildren, Tyler, Stanley IV, Julia, Jude, Omni and Brady Lynn; many cousins, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, including Rita Gramps, Linda Turner, Janis and Stan Kazwell Jr. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James “Binky” Brady and Bernard “Brubby” Brady; her father, Bernard Brady; and her mother, Helen (nee Henderson) Brady.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family.
