Virginia A. Mitchell, 78, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, at The Palms of Punta Gorda.
She was born Aug. 17, 1935, in Brooklawn, N.J., and moved to Charlotte County, Fla., in 1977 from New Jersey.
Virginia grew up with a love for music, the theater and movies. She graduated from Gloucester City High School in 1953. Virginia was employed as an administrative assistant and sales associate. She pampered prize-winning cats and dogs, and enjoyed boating. Virginia was a stylish, thoughtful and talented lady, and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is survived by her friends, David and Judith Wilson of Port Charlotte, Fla., Patsy Vogdes of Haddonfield, N.J., and Betty Daggy of San Jose, Calif. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Theodore F. Mitchell.
A private inurnment will be held at a later date in Port Charlotte. Friends may visit online at www.robersonfh.com to sign the memorial book and extend condolences to the family.
