Steve “Hollywood” Ritzer, 66, of Port Charlotte, Fla., was entered into eternal rest Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013.
He was born Oct. 6, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Hollywood was most proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. He was wounded in combat in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart, along with many other Medals and Citations. Hollywood was an avid motorcyclist and, at the time of his passing, was a member of the Charlotte County Chapter of the Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. He was also a member of the Marine Corps League Detachment 756, the Purple Heart Association, American Legion Post 103, Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Hollywood will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Burial with Full Military Honors was Rendered at Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, Fla.
