Mary Agnes Saccomanno, 84, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, in Georgia.
She was born March 28, 1929, the daughter of Agnes Bill and James Cantlon of Ettrick, Wis.
Mary attended Gale Ettrick High School. After graduation, she attended the College of St. Teresa in Winona, Minn., and St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn., where she graduated as an RN. On Nov. 18, 1950, she married Frank Saccomanno of Chicago, Ill. They raised six children while living in Roselle, Ill. Frank retired in 1989, and they moved to Port Charlotte, Fla. Mary moved to Cumming, Ga., in 2010.
She is survived by her six children, Joseph (Sheila) of Palatine, Ill., James (Sandy) of Grass Valley, Calif., John (Abby) of Suwanee, Ga., Tom (Julie) of Galena, Ill., Mary (John) Scutoski of Roselle, and Timothy (Jena) of Suwanee; brother and sister-in-law, Gerald (Christine) Saccomanno of Port Charlotte; and sister-in-law, Elsie Cantlon of Holmen, Wis.; and was blessed with 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in her death by her parents; her husband, Frank, on Dec. 26, 1996; and her brother, Lt. Col James Cantlon.
