Paul C. McCleery, 74, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013.
He was born Jan. 12, 1939, in Bradford, Pa., to Martha and Paul McCleery Sr.
Paul moved from Marcellus, N.Y., to this area in 1984, and was the owner/operator of a auto repair shop and was a trim carpenter. He was a member of the Shriners, the VFW and the Sons of the American Legion.
He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Karen McCleery and Lauri (David) Puskey; sons, Mark (Agnes), Paul Matthew (Sarah) and Timothy (Helen); brother, James; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many friends both in Florida and New York. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Linda McCleery.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services in Punta Gorda, Fla.
