Clyde W. Truax

Clyde W. Truax, 90, of Chester, Va., and formerly of Weirton, W.Va., and Port Charlotte, Fla., died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at his residence.

He was born in Eldersville, Pa., the son of Oscar G. and Georgeanna Walker Truax.

Mr. Truax was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, and a retired Steel Worker.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca (Becky) Truax of Chester; cousins, Pat Russell, David Walker and Melanie Lambert, all of Lancaster, Ohio; and devoted friends, Rita V. Rice and Mary S. Moore. Mr. Truax was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jean Haynes Truax; and his parents.
