Jeffrey E. “Jeff” Johnson, 50, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Bayfront Health Port Charlotte.
Jeff was born March 22, 1963, in Stoughton, Wis., and moved to Florida in the late ’60s.
He was employed with Publix Supermarkets for 19 years, where he became a Bakery Manager, before opening his own business, All Tree Service and Landscaping Inc. of Port Charlotte. Jeff loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Polly A. Johnson; daughters, Ashley Johnson of Port Charlotte, and Amanda Johnson of Orlando, Fla.; three sisters, Karen Johnson of Port Charlotte, Wendy Jones of Sun Prairie, Wis., and Carla Johnson of Marshall, Wis.; his father, Dale A. Johnson of Punta Gorda, Fla.; mother, Georgia Cure of Port Charlotte; granddaughter, Amari Presley; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Roberson Funeral Home Port Charlotte Chapel. The Rev. Brian James of Port Charlotte United Methodist Church will officiate.
