Bohdan “Bo” Popadiuk, 38, passed away suddenly Sunday, March 9, 2014.
He was born Aug. 10, 1975, in Rochester, N.Y., to Stephan Popadiuk and Lesia Bodnaruk.
Bo moved to Port Charlotte, Fla., with his family in 1991. He attended Charlotte High School, then received his certification in HVAC from Charlotte Vo-Tech. He had a passion for the outdoors, and spent his free time fishing, mudding, four-wheeling and camping. Bo was the best son, brother and friend anyone could ask for.
Bo will be greatly missed by his father and stepmother, Stephan (Vittoria) Popadiuk; mother, Lesia Bodnaruk; sister, Michelle Popadiuk; girlfriend, Rachel Carter, and her daughter, Lexi; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends in the USA, Belgium and Spain.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until services at 7 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014, at Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home, 2405 Harbor Blvd., Port Charlotte. A celebration of his life also will be held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at the Harbour Heights Park Community Center, 2530 Harbour Drive, Harbour Heights (Punta Gorda), Fla.
