Elizabeth A. Brannan

Elizabeth A. Brannan, 89, of Port Charlotte, Fla., and formerly of Englewood, Fla., passed away Monday, March 10, 2014.

She was born March 25, 1924, in Mexico City, Mexico, and moved to this area in 1978 from Summit, N.J.

Mrs. Brannan was a homemaker, a member of the P.E.O., and a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Venice, Fla. She graduated from Katharine Gibbs and John Robert Powers in New York. Mrs. Brannan was one of the first female airline flight attendants for Pan American Airlines. She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Myron) Tomyn of Port Charlotte; son, Robert (Rosalind) of Tallahassee, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brannan was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and son, James.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.

Arrangements by National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte.
