James W. Schultz, 71, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Marion, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014.
He was born Sept. 8, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Virginia Schultz.
James graduated from Shaker Heights High School and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. He attended graduate school at Ohio University and was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. James was a retired teacher from Marion City Schools District. He was a past chairman of the board of First Financial Legacy Funds Group. James was active in the community theater and past president of Willow Glen Homeowners Association. He was very passionate about music.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, of 44 years, Anne Mallard Schultz; daughter, Amy (Kurry) Commins of Fairfield, Ohio; son, Jonathan (Leah) Schultz of Evergreen, Colo.; brother, William S. Lord of Albuquerque, N.M.; and five grandchildren.
