Jeannette W. Favale, 85, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Florida Hospital in Tampa, Fla.

She was born Jeannette Leigh Wright, Jan. 28, 1929, in Perham, Maine, to Alice (nee Devoe) and Acland L. Wright.

Jeannette, a longtime resident of Connecticut, moved with her husband John to Charlotte County, Fla., in 1993. A retired Data Manager for Baskin-Robbins, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star (Goodwill Chapter) in Watertown, Conn., and was a former Grand Lecturer; also, she was a member of Order of Amaranth and a Past Grand Matron, and of Daughters of the Nile and a Past Queen. Jeannette also enjoyed longtime membership in Port Charlotte United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte, Fla.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, John A. Favale; a daughter, Janice (Don) Bowers; son Albert Favale; and a sister, Velma Wright.

Services will be held at a later date in Connecticut.

Friends may visit to sign the memory book and extend condolences to the family.

Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Homes, Port Charlotte Chapel.
