Dorothy Haley Adams passed away on her 91st birthday, Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at home in Port Charlotte, Fla.
She was born to Raymond Harry Haley and Ella Rena Fowler Haley and raised in Ocean City, N.J.
Dorothy and her late husband, Harry S. Adams Jr., owned and operated the Wyoming Hotel at 724 Ocean Avenue for many years as well as the Dairy Queen at 34th Street, in Ocean City. Dorothy was a longtime member of St Peter’s United Methodist Church there and graduated from Ocean City High School.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah J. Adams; son, Harry S. Adams III; as well as her grandson, Harry S. Adams IV. Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jane Bateson; and brother, Raymond Harry Haley Jr.
