Esther W. Paddock, 93, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014.
She was born April 2, 1921, in Deep River, Conn., and moved to this area 36 years ago from New York.
Mrs. Paddock was a retired Upholsterer. She was a member of the Women’s Circle group at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Charlotte, and she was responsible for creating the original Nativity scene in front of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Mrs. Paddock enjoyed crafts and sewing.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean (James) Corsner of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Esther was preceded in death by her husband, E. Bruce Paddock; her son, Roger; and three siblings.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
