PUNTA GORDA — Two people were injured Sunday in a motorcycle wreck on Interstate 75, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened around 1 p.m. near mile marker 165. The rear tire blew out on a 2002 Harley-Davidson, forcing it to veer from the outside lane onto the shoulder and overturn, a report stated. The driver was transported to Bayfront Health Port Charlotte with serious injuries, and the passenger was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital with critical injuries.
