ARCADIA — The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the men who died in a rollover Sunday night on State Road 70 as Arcadia residents Romaldo Aguillon Martinez, 44, and J. Socorro Aguillon Montoya, 40.
According to the FHP’s press release, a Dodge Durango lost control and rolled over just after 8:30 p.m. near Toby’s RV Park in Arcadia. Neither the driver — who has not been named because he is under criminal investigation — nor any of his six passengers was wearing a seatbelt, authorities said. Four of them were thrown from the SUV, though the report doesn’t specify who. Martinez died at the scene, and Aguillon-Montoya died later at a nearby hospital.
