PUNTA GORDA — The man accused of holding up a bank teller July 25 has been arrested, according to the Punta Gorda Police Department.
John Robert Haldemann, 30, of Naples was detained Tuesday by members of the FBI. The suspect allegedly had walked into the Bank of America at 100 Madrid Blvd., showed a gun to the teller, and made off with an unspecified amount of cash. A resident in the area noticed what the resident felt was a suspicious vehicle, and reported a partial tag number to the police.
