NORTH PORT — Freshman Emily Idoyaga scored the winning goal in the 78th minute as North Port edged Out-of-Door Academy, 2-1, in a non-district girls soccer matchup Thursday night.

It was a defensive struggle all night as shots were much harder to come by than they were during Tuesday’s district clash with Palmetto. But in the end, the Bobcats found just enough offense to hold off the scrappy Thunder.
