PUNTA GORDA — Clayton Toth hadn’t been a starting pitcher for quite a while. But when he got the ball, he delivered.

The senior pitched a complete-game six-hitter and the Charlotte High School baseball team took advantage of mistakes and free passes to cruise to an 8-1 victory over their Peace River rivals in Port Charlotte to remain unbeaten on the young season.
