PUNTA GORDA – Charlotte fell behind early, but scored in four straight innings to beat North Port 10-4 on Friday.
The Tarpons (8-2) allowed three runs in the first two innings against a Bobcats (2-7) team that they expected to beat handily. But Charlotte’s bats came alive in the middle innings, finishing with 10 runs on 12 hits in the win.
