PORT CHARLOTTE — Though the Port Charlotte baseball team entered Friday night’s non-district contest against Charlotte on their first winning streak of the season, the Pirates couldn’t seem to do anything right against the Tarpons.
Charlotte junior pitcher Kris Dillow never gave the Pirates a chance, holding them hitless except for a harmless single by Ryan Lomski in the fourth inning on his way to a 10-0 mercy-rule win in five innings for Charlotte at Port Charlotte High School.
