PUNTA GORDA — The Charlotte High School girls track team is coming along very nicely, as evidenced by its performance in this week’s Tarpon Invitational track meet.

The Tarpons figuratively and literally lapped the field, with the Tarpons scoring 151.5 points, easily outdoing Riverview which was a distant second with 90.
